Blog #3 paying teachers

 In my precise blogs I have talked about what I'm going to school for. To become a teacher, and one of the biggest problems in America is teaching shortages. These shortages come for the low pay that teachers receive. Teachers play a massive role in the growth of the world. Not only in the United States but across the word teachers are important. So why are teachers paid so low. The U.S. really underfunds the education department. 

While doctors and lawyers are making 100 thousands dollars a year. In some states teachers are making under 50k. A good teacher has a huge impact on a students like. These men and women are leaving last impacts on these children lives. While parents help children grow outside od the school. Kids are spending 40 hours a week with these teachers. Would you rather send your son or daughter to school with a teacher you trust. Because of how low the pay is for teachers no one wants to become one. So schools are forced to bring in teachers who are not fit to teacher our nations children. 

If we want our nation to grow and continue to be the most powerful nation in the world. We need to put more of a focus on education. In 1900 when the U.S. put a focus on education, we put a focus because a quality education helps democracy grow. The best way the United States can change the way education is looked at is by paying teachers what they should be paid.
