With social media students are asking bullying to another level. Instagram, twitter, and snapchat have created new ways to bully other students. From posting about other students. To messaging one another. An article from Stopbulling.gov states, “Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place over digital devices like cell phones, computers, and tablets. A website called positive action is a great website to prepare teachers and parents on how to help their kids with cyberbullying. One reason I really like is, “Parents and teachers who are easy to talk to — trusted communication partners — are often approached earlier by the victim in a bullying situation. Assure your students they can come to you to be heard.”(Positive action). Creating a safe place for our kids to open up and feel comfortable to share when someone is bullying them should be a priority. With mental issues going on around the world.
