Paying for community college

Image
As a community college student in Arizona, I think about the different types of people who attend GCC. From kids straight out of high school. To parents going back to school to get a degree. This is what makes a community college special: the ability for anyone to come and get a degree. In the United states there are 15 states that offer free community college. As I've gotten older, the media has continued to grow.  Media is such a huge part of my everyday life. I wake up, go ...

With social media students are asking bullying to another level. Instagram, twitter, and snapchat have created new ways to bully other students. From posting about other students. To messaging one another. An article from Stopbulling.gov states, “ Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place over digital devices like cell phones, computers, and tablets. Cyberbullying can occur through SMS, Text, and apps, or online in social media, forums, or gaming where people can view, participate in, or share content.(Stopbullying.gov). This has taken bullying to another level. Schools are stuck at what they can do to help students, Since the bullying is not going on at school. Punishing students is something schools are still trying to figure out. Some of the ways schools are stopping cyberbullying are. Monitoring classroom technology. This is one w...
