How media is changing lives
Media brings people together. At the same time the media pulls people away from one another. Being able to connect to people from other nations is something that has never been done before. While looking on social media we are taking away conversations from our peers. The new generation is more worried about how fast you respond to a text than talking face to face. Jobs struggle to get employees off phones during work. All of these problems are new.
Not only is social media changing the way we live daily. Computers are changing everything about the way we run our schools. Students are not writing with pen and paper anymore. Everything is online. The paper’s they write, the assignments they turn in. Even books are in the past. Apps like safari, google, bing are what students use to get information.

Being born in 2004 I have grown up with the media. As I've gotten older, the media has continued to grow. Media is such a huge part of my everyday life. I wake up, go on social media, get to work and use my computer for work. Then drive to school and open my computer for class. Growing up we used textbooks, read books everyday, our papers were written with pen and paper. Luckily I was able to grow up that way. I think we as a nation need to take the focus away from the media and teach the youth how to interact in person. How to write cursive and what good handwriting looks like.
Social media has taken over the way people think. Posting for views and like are driving people in a negative way. The need for approval has skyrocketed over the years because of social media. Apps like instagram have blown people up. Making celebrities from posting everyday. People making millions of dollars from pics of themselves or what they are doing daily. Media will continue to change our lives as AI comes into play. We can only wait and see what happens with the future of media.
