When you think of the economy one of the biggest things is sports. With sports betting, the amount of business created from sports. Not only does sports help the economy but it brings the world together. For instance, look at the world cup. Over 5 billion views across the world to watch soccer. To compare the latest NFL playoffs had 37 million. Sports matter everywhere no matter where you are. Where you come from. If you come from money or from poverty. Sports bring everyone together. 


How do sports affect the economy? Sports not only have helped huge companies like dick sporting goods or cheese. the two biggest sports goods stores but a ton of mom and pop shops around the world. Sports also bring in tourists around the nation. People flying to LA, New York or even Kansas city. Teams like the Dodgers, yankees or the Giants and the 49ers. These teams are bringing in millions of dollars every year just from people coming to see them play. This also helps restaurants, hotels, and taxi drivers. Having a professional sports team helps bring more business. 



Secondly, bringing the world together over 5 billion views on this year's men's World Cup. Every nation that quarries make the tournament. Passionate countries cheering for their players. Look at countries like Argentina the winners this year. The city was shut down due to crowds gathering after the win. The world needs sports. Children looking up to their star wearing their jerseys. Playing football, baseball, basketball, tennis, soccer. Kids grow up playing these, creating friendships and memories that will last forever.

    What you say about sports bringing people together is so true. I love anything that gives people the opportunity to connect. With the World Cup, thinking of 5 billion coming together across the world is amazing. Having a sports team for a town where the income is low could help residents as people from other towns visit to watch games and tournaments be played. Internationally and nationally, sports bring a competition and shared interests amongst different cultures.
