Education in Arizona
In the state of Arizona one of the biggest problems. Is education beyond high school. Arizona is beginning to put a priority on eduction in the state. By approving a bigger budget to help these school districts better themselves. Ducey our Governor talks about how this helps our state and the benefits we gain with allowing more propel to get a better education.
An article by AZ central states, "States with better-educated citizens also see economic benefits. These states have better luck recruiting and retaining quality employers, and they enjoy lower overall rates of unemployment, poverty and welfare dependency"( Ducey 6). Arizona providing more opportunities for people to get degrees only helps our communities. More qualified workers help create more jobs and helps poverty. Now how do we accomplish this. AZcental states, "I’ve made a commitment to changing the trend line when it comes to education funding in our state. In this year’s budget, we added $142 million to K-12 education – above and beyond the voter-approved Proposition 123. For universities, we approved an additional $38 million"(Ducey 12). Poring more money into education provides better equipment and facilities for our youth. Creating more scholarships and opportunities for kids to expand their schooling should be a top priority.

Arizona being one of the worst education states makes this much needed. Focusing on education only betters the state. By providing more jobs and higher paying jobs for our community. Lowering unemployment and higher our economy helps the state grow. By focusing for education this is possible.
